Using GiftABook

GiftABook matches readers who love books and organizes real-world meet-ups for them to exchange physical books as gifts. By using the site, you agree to participate respectfully, show up to meet-ups you commit to, and keep the contact details of other participants private.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform or repeatedly no-show at organized meet-ups.

No liability for meet-ups

GiftABook facilitates introductions but is not responsible for what happens at in-person meet-ups. Use good judgment and meet in public places.

If GiftABook changes hands

If GiftABook is incorporated, becomes part of a parent organization, merges with or is acquired by another organization, or is otherwise restructured, we may transfer these terms, and our rights and obligations under them, to the organization that takes over running GiftABook. That successor then takes our place under these terms. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. What happens to your data in that case is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
